Interview: Wave Break Release's New Track, Spinning Out!
Interview with Wave Break's vocalist Kelly Barber.
What inspired the creation of this single?
Our bassist Tom had initially demo'ed out a riff and then Will took it and expanded on it, changed it up and demo'ed it into a full song. Then we wrote the other instruments and lyrics!

Concert Review: Highlights and Memories from Riot Fest 2025
Riot Fest 2025 was everything I hoped for and then some. Held again in Chicago's Douglas Park, the festival delivered three amazing days filled with punk, metal, emo, and everything in between. With a lineup that was a perfect balance of nostalgia for both the older generation and my generation, while also showcasing the new emerging acts. This year’s lineup was a perfect blend to honor the bands that defined a genre of music and highlighted newer acts.

Concert Review: Bilmuri – Summer Slammer Summer Tour The Fillmore – Charlotte, NC
Bilmuri’s sold out stop at The Fillmore Charlotte was nothing short of a party disguised as a
concert. From the moment Johnny Franck walked on stage, grinning ear to ear, it was clear the
night would be special. He comes across as one of the most genuine, happy, and grateful
performers I have ever seen—someone who truly appreciates every person in the room.

Album Review: Big Ol' Nasty Getdown Release Volume 3
When I first got this assignment, I can honestly say I had never heard of The Big Ol' Nasty Get Down but after reading the lineup of musicians that were contributing to this project, I was so intrigued. I was pretty sold when I saw that members of two of my all-time favorite bands (Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam). However, looking over the musician lineup I went into this review expecting one thing and got something completely different. I really was expecting something

Saturday night was another honor—another electric jolt to the soul—to witness The Melvins in all their glorious variations and side-project splendor. Concert RECAP: Quinn XCII Live at The Fillmore Philly
Quinn XCII lit up The Fillmore Philly on September 9 with a high-voltage set that blurred the lines between alt-pop, punk energy, and raw emotion. From Georgia Peach chaos to the slow swaying of Midwest Mon Lisa, the night was a rollercoaster—and fans were here for every second of it.
The setlist hit hard, the visuals hit harder, and by the end, nobody left the same. Philly showed up and showed out.

Concert Review: Steven Adler: Anything Goes, Double Casino Shows
Steven Adler, former drummer of 80’s hard rock superstars Guns N’ Roses, took to the mid-Atlantic area with his legendary backing band last weekend for two casino shows: Horseshoe Casino Baltimore on September 12th, and Harrah’s Casino Philly (Chester, PA), on September 13th. Myself, along with my good friend and BiCoastal Productions booking agent Tracy Ong, had the esteemed privilege of being on the guest list both of these nights. The kindness and friendship we received fr

Bayside – Errors Tour, The Underground – Charlotte, NC
I had the pleasure of shooting Bayside’s second Charlotte night of the Errors Tour, and the band did not disappoint. Playing back-to-back nights in the same city is no easy feat, but Bayside made it feel effortless, delivering a set that was both sharp and spontaneous.

Concert Review: The Neverest Duality Tour with Halestorm, Lindsey Stirling and Apocalyptica at the Upstate Medical University at The OncenterWar Memorial in Syracuse, N.Y.
The Neverest Duality tour was united by musicians Halestorm and Lindsey
Stirling on September 16, 2025, at the Upstate Medical University at The Oncenter War Memorial in Syracuse, New York. Apocalyptica was also in support of this
fantastic lineup. This show was astonishing, and I couldn’t dare blink for a second,
as each band’s set was packed with so much action. There’s a lot to explain about what made this show so exciting.

Concert Review: Pup & Jeff Rosenstock w/ Ekko Astral at Brooklyn Paramount
Making your way through the world can sometimes be a Herculean task. Between the animosity growing from every crevice of our fracturing political landscape to the increasing costs of living to the fears of a future that may or may not even exist, it can be quite difficult to face the rocky terrain of the modern day. However, a part that can make the journey much lighter is the force of friendship acting as the wind in your sails. A community that fosters hope, acceptance, and

Concert Review: Michael Schenker's sold out show at The Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, CT. "The My Years with UFO" 50 year Anniversary Celebration Tour with Jared James Nichols
The year is 1979. For my Birthday, my dad brings me to a local record store - I have $20.00 to spend and I buy UFO "Strangers in the Night", RUSH "2112" and Ted Nugent's "Double Live Gonzo". The instant I put on Strangers it was life-changing - seriously! Instantly I was hooked - absolutely loved Michael's playing and in my eyes it's still the greatest live album ever!

Concert Review: On a Night Like This at The Prudential Center with Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin W/ Special guest Return to Dust
Wednesday, September 10, my Spotify was all about Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace the whole day. From working out to doing laundry and groceries, I was off from work that day. That is my routine when I’m covering a concert: just that band on my Spotify until I arrive at the venue.
