New Single Interview With Born Riot. New Single, Home, Drops June 13, 2025!
What inspired the creation of this single?
Well, this song has been kicking around since the start of the band, it was one of the original early songs in our original line up. I really liked the lyrics, and they showed up really easily. I had the harmonies, and the structure pretty much dialed immediately. If memory serves, this song showed up with the riff and the title for some reason, so I wrote it based on the title.

New Album Interview: Nothing Concrete Set to Release The Imperfectionist - 27 June 2025!
What inspired the theme or concept behind this album?
The idea behind The Imperfectionist grew out of a kind of joyful rebellion — a refusal to chase perfection in a world obsessed with it. As a band, we’re more interested in honesty, in character, in the stories that come out of the cracks.
The album explores themes like tolerance, solidarity, absurdity, ageing, and the awkward beauty of being human. Musically, it jumps between genres — swing, Afrobeat, folk, cumbia,

Concert Review: DE'WAYNE Brings Love, Heart, and Rock to Philadelphia
The City of Brotherly Love is alive and well, filled with a warm energy as I stand at the corner of Chestnut and 11th Ave. The popular two-story music venue and bar, Milkboy, is illuminated in red lights as the after-work crowd begins to trickle in. Milkboy is a staple in the Philly music scene, garnering talent from near and far, and tonight its stage is set. On the second level, fans stake their claim at the front of the stage for the show. The talented Red Leather is headl

Artist Interview: Grace Elly
What first got you into music?
I remember being about five or six years old when my family took a trip to Daytona Beach, Florida. One evening, while we were having dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, my grandpa got up to sing karaoke. He chose What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. Watching him perform was unforgettable — he looked so joyful, and his energy lit up the entire room. In that moment, I realized I wanted to do the same: bring happiness to others through music

Artist Interview: Preacher Boy
What first got you into music?
Being born?
Seriously, as far back as I can remember, I was just absolutely obsessed with music. And by the look of the old family movies my parents still have, I was into music before my memories even began.
There’s a video of me runnin’ circles around a little inflatable kiddie pool in the back yard when I was about two with a little white plastic guitar, and I was making up songs. I guess you could say my first original song lyric

On June 30, 2025, The Met in Pawtucket, RI, welcomed Babylon A.D. It was a fun night of music. The majority of fans wearing black pants and black T-shirts with the logo of both bands were singing, dancing, and jumping around the room. Some of them stood in front of the stage enjoying the music.

Interview: Flash Bangs, George Westerholm, Chats About Their Upcoming Single "Hide Away"
What inspired the creation of this single?
"Hide Away" for some reason has a power to orient us as a band. We usually start our rehearsals with it. It’s a rock for us.
What story or message does the song convey?
Too often the art of living is traded away for a smaller personal narrative of sadness and disappointments. It sounds dreary when you say it like that. But that’s the idea behind it. It’s probably better if you just listen to the song.

Single Review: Love and a .38 Release "Revelation"!
When I first sat down to review Love and a .38's new single "Revelation" the plan was to do one listen and just give a hot take first impression. I wanted to give just a raw unfiltered take but then something strange happened. Something that musically doesn't happen to me often. I was at a total loss of words.

Concert Review: The Wrecks with Quarters of Change and Benjamin Carter at Emo's. Austin, TX!
The evening started with Benjamin Carter, who brought an intimate, stripped-back energy to the stage. His performance was filled with vulnerability, as his soulful vocals and honest lyrics set a mood that captivated the audience. Though unfamiliar with his music prior to the show, I found myself completely absorbed in his set and grateful that I get to say I saw him on his first tour! Keep an eye on this rising star—his journey is just beginning.

Concert Review: The Rasmus Weirdo Tour at Studio TD, Montreal, Canada!
On May 19th, 2025, The Rasmus brought their Weirdo Tour to Montreal’s Studio TD. As one of the last stops on the North American leg of their 2025 world tour, named after the band’s upcoming album, the show was well-rehearsed but still felt authentic. It had been a long while since the Canadian metropolis had last welcomed the Finnish band into one of its venues, so the reunion felt electric. A perfect Monday night to end the three-day weekend in Canada.

Single Review: Falling in Reverse and Marilyn Manson Drop "God Is A Weapon"!
In a move surprising their fans, Falling In Reverse dropped their first new single (and a video to go along with it) since concluding the Popular Monster cycle. “God Is A Weapon” is a moody, cinematic piece whose beginning is reminiscent of Marilyn Manson’s cover of the Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)”.

Album Review: Sleep Theory, Afterglow!
In a time where technology has fundamentally changed how we as a society do things like shop and find new music, it makes sense that bands would take to social media platforms such as YouTube and TikTok to get the word out about their projects. Sleep Theory was no exception. They quickly became Sirius XM Octane darlings with their debut singles “Numb” and “Another Way”, climbed up the Active Rock radio charts, impressed Zach Myers and Brent Smith of Shinedown enough for them
