What inspired the creation of this single?   It's me poking fun at myself. Seemingly, I'm not very good with commitment or so I've been told several times in the past. I'm not saying it's true but I currently live all alone. 

What inspired the creation of this single?   "Are You Sorry" was inspired by stories I heard from people about bad relationships they had been in. It made me think about how they were feeling and what a song from their point of view would sound like. I like writing from other people's point of view because I love storytelling and I've been writing stories since I was little. 

What inspired the concept for the music video?   I wanted to bring light to the song, as it is a pretty heavy topic and I thought what better place than a music store. Music is healing for so many and I wanted to feature an environment that was supportive and warm. Of course, my neighborhood music store was the perfect spot and when I asked Jeff Slatnick if we could film the music video there, he said yes, without a pause.

What first got you into music? JB - My parents record collection, and long drives with my folks listening to cassettes.   EWC - My earliest memory was finding my dad's vinyl collection, and it was a record by The Shadows. I remember the cover had a Vox amp with some Fender Stratocasters leaning up against it. I think it had a song called Apache on it…

What inspired the theme or concept behind this album? What’s interesting is that the album wasn’t fully understood while we were making it. We didn’t start with a rigid concept. The meaning revealed itself after the process. Only toward the end did we realize the record was about division—internal and external, personal and collective—but also about the duality of life’s contrasts: light and shadow, strength and fragility, instinct and consciousness.
