Concert Review: Buddy Guy 90: The Blues Are Still Burning at The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN
At 90 years old, Guy isn't simply touring. He's carrying more than seven decades of American music history onto the stage with him. The Buddy Guy 90 tour, with Christone "KINGFISH" Ingram opening the night, wasn't merely a celebration of a birthday. It was a celebration of the blues itself, from the artists who built it to the musicians now carrying it forward.

Concert Review: Lord Huron Atlanta at the Coca-Cola Roxy - (The Cosmetic Selector Tour)
Visuals, Jukebox, and the Payphone:
Lord Huron's Cosmic Selector Tour had a massive smoke-filled backdrop that transported the band into hot deserts and dark foggy cold forests throughout the show. The band was spread out on the stage with two major props that were put on the spotlight for the show. The first was a spotlight on a huge jukebox on the right side of the stage that symbolized the album "The Cosmic Selector Vol.1" which depicted themes of fate, choice, regret and

Concert Review: The Revivalists at Lake Morey Resort
At 8:15 p.m., The Revivalists hit the stage with high energy and powerful vocals from frontman David Shaw. Shaw's connection with the crowd was strong, as usual. It was a truly unique and euphoric experience for many in the audience. People were singing, dancing, eating, and drinking. They joined in on every word of the songs, singing along as one. It was a celebration of faith, family, and community, a moment filled with good vibes, great music, and an opportunity to connect

Concert Review: Belmont, Major League and Spite House at House of Blues Chicago
Chicago welcomed home Belmont for an explosive end to their most recent tour on August 8th. The show was held at the iconic House of Blues along the Chicago River, a beautiful venue in the heart of the city where music legends from all over the world have been rocking out since 1996.

Concert Review: Tyler Childers Along with Evan Honer Brought the Bluegrass, Hippie, Honkytonk to Hershey Park Stadium
On a warm and sticky summer night in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Tyler Childers proved that you don't need arena-sized theatrics to command a stadium. Armed with a catalog built on Appalachian storytelling, country grit and songs that feel as lived-in as they sound, Childers brought his Snipe Hunt tour to Chocolatetown. Evan Honer, singer-songwriter and ex collegiate springboard diver opened the show with his personal brand of indie-folk-pop.

On August 13, legendary heavy rock progenitors Deep Purple played the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA – near Boston. The opening bands were the current version of Kansas, as well as Jefferson Airplane spin-off band (not to be confused with Starship, also a spin-off band from JA) Jefferson Starship.

Concert Review: The Stray Cats at Northfield Park Racino: 45 Years Later, Still Cool
Northfield Park Racino's Center Stage on August 12th was the right room for rockabilly, close enough that you feel it. Most of the 1400 people there probably became fans in 1981 when "Stray Cat Strut" and "Rock This Town" landed on MTV. It was a real treat to see all of the original members: Brian Setzer on guitar, Lee Rocker on upright bass, and Slim Jim Phantom on drums.

Concert Review: Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte at Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA
Wow the crowd was definitely excited and ready for Good Charlotte to take the stage, the venue was packed and the crowd was loud! They really enjoy using fire flashes and used them often. As a photographer in the pit you could really feel the heat from those pyro blasts! They rolled through their 18-song set, which was full of hits and energy, they were very enjoyable, and the crowd loved them.

Concert Review: Duane Betts & Palmetto Motel in Natick, MA
A couple of weeks after photographing The Allman Betts Band at The Cabot in Beverly, Massachusetts, I was at the Center for Arts in Natick, Massachusetts, on August 8, 2026, to photograph Duane Betts & Palmetto Motel. Blending blues and rock influences rooted in Dickey Betts and The Allman Brothers Band legacy, the group delivered a terrific live performance. The band was touring in support of their new album, Isle of Hope, which was released on Sun Records on June 12, 2026.

Concert Review: Rod Stewart Delivers an Unforgettable Night at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater
ome concerts are simply performances. Others become experiences that stay with you long after the final song. Rod Stewart’s August 7 performance at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport was unquestionably the latter.
From the moment fans began arriving, there was an unmistakable sense of anticipation. The crowd was a fantastic mix of generations, with longtime Rod Stewart fans standing alongside younger concertgoers who were just as enthusiastic about the musi

Concert Review: Melanie Martinez Brings HADES to Life at the Kia Center in Orlando
On July 30, Melanie Martinez brought HADES: THE SACRIFICE TOUR to
Orlando’s Kia Center, bringing the dystopian world of her latest album to the
stage through elaborate production, choreography, and visual storytelling.
HADES is rooted in social commentary, using its dystopian setting to reflect
and criticize elements of the world we live in today. That message carried
directly into the live production. Rather than simply performing the album against elaborate backdro

CONCERT REVIEW: Lainey Wilson Proves She’s More Than a Country Star in Canton
There may not be a more fitting place to end Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week than under the lights of Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton. On Sunday night, the Raising Cane’s Concert for Legends brought country music to a venue normally reserved for football, with CMA Entertainer of the Year, Lainey Wilson, headlining and rising Texas country artist Braxton
Keith opening the night.
