Miguel was born and raised in San Pedro, California, and has had multiple hit songs over the past decade across 5 albums. He is an excellent performer and singer who plays the guitar and blends smooth soul and rock into his music, making him truly special. You can hear it in his sound as he performs.Â
Last night, he performed at the Toyota Music Factory, where fans sang along to all his songs.
Miguel came out on a car and started with the song Perderme. The song Perderme is a rock-heavy song, and you can feel the weight of it as he plays the guitar through its tones and execution. Throughout the song, you can see a head come up as he sings, and after the song, you hear the head speak. Think of it as another voice that Miguel speaks back to during the concert to get some thoughts out.Â
Throughout the show, the head does speak after certain songs; it's an interesting dynamic.
Miguel performed 23 songs throughout the show, such as Simple Things and All I Want Is You to name a few. During the song Girl with a Tattoo, he took off his shirt and the crowd went wild, he even threw off his old shirt into the crowd. Miguel started to sing Girl with the Tattoo after he recorded one part of his voice to be the base for the song.Â
He performed the song " Quickie " and danced midway through as he sang, and the crowd proceeded to eat it up as they loved his voice as well as how he moved during the song.
Miguel, as a performer and singer, is genuinely a great experience for everyone. If you have the chance to see him, you should see him; you wouldn’t be disappointed at all.Â
