Blues-rock guitar legend Joe Bonamassa brought his 2026 U.S. Spring Tour to Springfield Symphony Hall in Springfield, MA, delivering a powerful night of blues, rock, and extended guitar improvisation. Playing to a full house, Bonamassa showcased his signature blend of vintage blues covers and modern blues-rock originals, moving effortlessly from fiery electric solos to soulful vocal sections. The show highlighted both his virtuosity and the tight chemistry of his seasoned touring band, with standout performances from Josh Smith on guitar, Calvin Turner on bass, Lemar Carter on drums, and vocalists Jade MacRae and Danielle DeAndrea, along with new member Lachy Doley on keyboards, replacing the legendary Reese Wynans.


Joe Bonamassa is one of the top modern blues-rock guitarists. He started his career opening for B.B. King at age 12 and has become a prolific recording artist and performer, with many No. 1 albums on Billboard's Blues chart. Throughout his career, he has received five Grammy Award nominations for his blues recordings, strengthening his reputation as a major figure in contemporary blues music. 


The night boosted Bonamassa’s reputation as one of the leading modern blues guitarists, blending his distinctive style with deep roots in traditional blues.
