MASS MoCA was the perfect backdrop for Dacus’s thoughtful songwriting and understated stage presence. Set within the sprawling campus of the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, a former 19th-century textile and electronics manufacturing complex transformed into one of the country’s premier contemporary arts centers, the venue’s industrial brick buildings and open-air Courtyard D created an atmosphere that felt both intimate and expansive.

Throwing Muses delivered a raw, intimate set at The Parkway Theater in Minneapolis on April 13, performing both recent material and the post-punk, discordant melodies that have defined their sound since the 1980s. On March 12, 2026, the jam-scene duo Gubbulidis delivered an intimate, improvisational performance at The Drake, a small, lively venue in downtown Amherst, MA. The show showcased the longstanding musical partnership of guitarist and vocalist Mihali Savoulidis and bassist Zdenek Gubb, founding members of the Vermont jam-rock band Twiddle. Opening the evening was singer-songwriter Jesse Bardwell.
