Music Review: Empires in Orbit Release "Audiodrome"
I sat down to review Empires in Orbit's new release, Audiodrome, and I honestly wasn't sure what to expect. This is an artist I had zero background on, and within seconds of the first track, I realized this was something totally outside my normal wheelhouse. While that might turn some people off, it actually excited me. It was something new, something fresh, and something I could approach with zero expectations.

Some albums ask to be heard, some demand to be heard and then there are records that seem determined to swallow the listener whole.
Holissstik’s debut album, Chapter 1: This Endless Solutude is one of those albums. Releasing 14 August, 2026, this album serves as the first installment in a multi album project courtesy of Norwegian multi-instrumentalist and producer, Tor-Helge Skei.

Music Review: Motionless in White, Decades
There’s a lot that can be said about a band that’s been around for two decades. Motionless In White has been called many things over the years: some good, some bad, some ugly. But there’s one thing they can’t be called and that’s stagnant. The Scranton, PA metalcore group released their highly anticipated seventh studio album, aptly titled Decades, in celebration of the band’s 20 year anniversary.

Music Review: The Pretty Reckless Album "Dear God"
In an interview with Loudwire in April, Momsen said,”...It almost has this feel of it [being] directly ripped out of my diary. You're really getting the inside of how my mind works on this one." She’s not wrong. Gone is the ambiguity in the songwriting, giving the listener more of a direct line to the vulnerability and assertiveness Momsen poured into the lyrics.

Music Review: Ice Nine Kills Release Play Dead
Boston based Ice Nine Kills has spent the last decade sharing their love of the horror genre through their music, writing songs inspired by literary classics, movies, and video games, including Resident Evil (“Rain Day” ~ Welcome to Horrorwood: The Silver Scream 2). The most recent addition to their ever-growing macabre discography is “Play Dead”, written for the tenth anniversary of the popular video game, “Dead By Daylight.”

Music Review: Motionless in White Release R.I.P. with Skylar Grey
On Wednesday, June 17th, Motionless In White released the third single from their upcoming album, Decades, set for release on July 17th. The track, featuring Skylar Grey, is cinematic, painting a dark picture of uncertainty in love.
The song opens with a haunting piano as if it were a bell signalling distress. Grey, an independent artist who gained widespread recognition for her work with Eminem and Dr. Dre on “I Need A Doctor”, opens with a haunting, breathy chorus befor

Music Review: Evanescence Release Sanctuary
Since their massive debut album Fallen hit the airwaves in 2003, Evanescence has maintained a steady presence in the hard rock/goth rock scene, surviving a not so amicable departure of a founding member and a 6-year hiatus between their self-titled album 3rd album and Synthesis. On June 5th, 2026, they released their 6th studio album, Sanctuary. At first listen, it’s a collection of mid-tempo, melodramatic songs that made the group a mainstay in the emo/goth scene for the las

Music Review: Violet Grohl; Be Sweet to Me
I sat down to listen to Violet Grohl's "Be Sweet to Me" with very low expectations. I try to walk into listening to all new albums with optimism. But not a lot of music being put out by 20-year-olds that I relate to. Famous musicians' children making music is such a mixed bag. But Dave Grohl is one of my all-time favorite musicians. Foo Fighters is a top 5 favorite band. So, I had to give Violet Grohl a chance. I am so glad I did it.

Music Review: Kurt Deimer; A Grog is Born
So, I sat down to listen to Kurt Deimer's new album "A Grog is Born". I didn't look at the track list. I didn't do any research, just a total blind listen.
The first track, "In Deep", caught me by surprise, it was a catchy nice fun beat and then I heard this familiar voice. Mind you I didn't know anything about Kurt Deimer, all I could think was who is that voice I know I have heard before of course it was the unmistakable unique voice of Josh Todd of Buckcherry.

Music Review: Lauren Sanderson Drops "Lauren"
Lauren Sanderson released a brand-new album in May titled LAUREN. The first track, “Come Say Sum,” feels like getting hit with the best feeling possible. It has everything you could want. The song has angst, energy beyond belief, and a relatable, hypnotic sensation that leaves the listener wanting more. The bratty attitude behind every word is electric.

Fort Wayne has a secret, and I’m here to serve the tea! The Fort Wayne, IN music scene contains a little band called Tearing Down The Masquerade, who are so underrated.
