Today, Talking Heads has unveiled “PSYCHO KILLER (SEPTEMBER 1975 DEMO)” from the upcoming Tentative Decisions: Demos & Live, set for release on March 6, 2026. This is the first time ever that this special “Psycho Killer” demo will be available digitally. Recorded in a Brooklyn, New York home studio, it is one of the earliest recordings by the original trio (David Byrne, Chris Frantz, and Tina Weymouth) and builds on last year’s 11-song collection released for RSD Black Friday.
Tentative Decisions: Demos & Live continues a series of archival releases launched last year in celebration of the band’s 50th anniversary. The 3CD collection charts the original trio’s rapid evolution, featuring 15 unreleased demos made for CBS in September 1975 and more than a dozen unreleased live recordings from the band’s first two years in New York.
