Concert Review: A Night of Energy, Nostalgia, and Connection: Black Veil Brides with From Ashes to New, TX2 and As December Falls in Minneapolis
Black Veil Brides returned to Minneapolis, Minnesota on their North American tour, joined by As December Falls, TX2, and From Ashes to New at The Fillmore. It was a stacked lineup filled with incredible performances, energy, and a strong sense of community. For a Thursday evening, it certainly didn’t feel like one. The crowd showed up early and maintained that energy from start to finish.

Concert Review: Lorna Shore with Signs of the Swarm and Paleface Swiss at Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, PA
Lorna Shore body slammed their way into the Wind Creek Event center along with other heavy hitters, Paleface Swiss and Signs of the Swarm. This is the heaviest show that I have attended in a really long time. For over 3 hours crowd surfers streamed from the back of the venue to the pit.

Concert Review: Night Ranger; Motoring Back to Bethlehem
Night Ranger wants you to know right off the bat that any given one of their shows is a party. In case one does not know this, they send the message across before even taking the stage by dimming the house lights and letting the Beastie Boys song “Fight For Your Right” overtake the crowd first. When the anticipation is at its peak, and when the band finally comes into sight amidst the smoke machines, they lay down the law pretty quickly by exploding into their classic anthem

Concert Review: Tom Keifer Band with Buckcherry, Springfield Symphony Hall, Springfield, MA
Tom Keifer (Cinderella) and Buckcherry rolled into Springfield Symphony Hall on Saturday, May
23, 2026. Fans packed the historic hall, wearing vintage Cinderella concert shirts and metal
regalia, minus the big hair. They carried decades of memories, ready to relive the soundtrack of
1980s and 1990s radio and MTV. The elaborate Symphony Hall, with its vaulted ceilings and
classic theater atmosphere, was the perfect setting for a night of loud guitars, raspy vocals, and

Concert Review: Super Furry Animals at O2 Brixton Academy, London
After ten years away, the Super Furry Animals are back! The hugely important band who formed in the 1990’s, taking us on a sonic journey through their genre-bending career, aren’t just important to the indie scene of the time, but the musical culture of Wales itself. Eccentric, hook-laden, and unapologetically political – the band have been a cornerstone of the British experimental music scene. In the O2 Brixton Academy this evening, the lights were low and the fog thick.

Concert Review: SatchVai "Surfing with the Hydra 2026 Spring US Tour" from the Palace Theatre in Albany, NY
SatchVai "Surfing with the Hydra 2026 Spring US Tour" from the Palace Theatre in Albany, NY, on May 21st. A large crowd attended the beautiful Palace Theatre. The venue is perfect for an act like this, featuring a big stage, tall ceiling and an acoustically great sounding hall. I think it's great that they decided to form a band; this setup gives fans the best of what they both offer.

Concert Review: A Decade in the Making: The Cab Kicks Off Their Headlining Tour in Dallas
The Cab officially kicked off their first headlining tour in over a decade at The Echo Lounge & Music Hall in Dallas on May 22, 2026.
Starting off the night was the band Jady. Their dynamic blend of alt-rock got the crowd moving. Frontman Jarrett Doherty captivated the crowd with his high energy and fan involvement, keeping the crowd on their toes with excitement. Rounding out this high-energy set is the punchy drum stylings of Ashton Bergdorf, whose driving pace was on fu

Final night of the run. Last stop. No reserving energy for tomorrow.

Concert Review: Hounds of the Underground Tour: If Not For Me, Windwaker, and Colorblind at The Filmore, St. Paul, MN
Who let the dogs out?! Because the Hounds of the Underground Tour with If Not For Me, Windwaker, and Colorblind came through to St. Paul, Minnesota on 5/16/2026. I
can’t think of a better name for this tour, because each of these bands have been
making themselves known, and are more of the… lets say, underDOG’S, in the scene right now? Get it? Okay, no more dog puns, I had to.

Concert Review: Satchvai Band with Animals as Leaders at Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston, MA

The American rock supergroup formed by guitarists Joe Satriani and Steve Vai delivered a terrific performance for the fans who attended the concert. Formed in 2024, along Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, the group included Kenny Aronoff (drums), Marco Mendoza (bass), and Pete Thorn (rhythms guitar).

Concert Review: Avatar at The Dome at Oakdale Theater, Wallingford, CT
It was my first experience seeing this masterpiece from Sweden known as Avatar and it was awe-inspiring. For a warm and rainy Tuesday night show the venue was packed with fans of all ages itching at the chance to witness this gathering. From a full parking lot and a line that seemed to go on for ages, there was a feeling that the evening was going to be full of pure bliss.

Concert Review: Oteil & Friends at The Royale in Boston, MA
The Royale, a nightclub on Tremont Street in Boston, MA, welcomed Oteil & Friends—headed by Oteil Burbridge—on May 17, 2026. The sold-out show was exceptional, and a man sitting next to me remarked that this was an extraordinary group of musicians playing unique jams, and that we were all so lucky to hear it. I completely agreed.

Concert Review: In Flames with Thrown and Distant at the Egyptian Room in Indianapolis, IN
Opening the show was the Deathcore outfit from the Netherlands. The energy was high from the get-go as they pummeled the crowd with bone shaking breakdowns, juicy riffs, and brutal vocals. No time was wasted to open the bit as even I found myself tucking the camera and getting my two step on as the moshers made their presence known. A very good display from Distant as I’m certain many new fans were made that night including me.

Concert Review: Pure Chaos and Broken Ankles: 156/Silence and Fox Lake Tear Down Montage Music Hall
"156/Silence," "Fox Lake," and "Quantifier's" sold-out show at Montage Music Hall was a show that you just had to be at. It was pure chaos fueled with adrenaline, mosh pits, crowd surfers, and walls of death. In a club venue that I have been going to for years, this was one of, if not the craziest crowd I was a part of.

Concert Review: Dayseeker with Sace6, Wind Walkers and Northlane at The Pageant in St. Louis, MO
Dayseeker recently kicked off “The Pale Moonlight Tour”, a sold-out tour which included a stop in St. Louis, MO. VIP sold out quickly, with general admission selling out days after. That should be enough to prove what a great band they are. The tour featured three openers.
