Concert Review: Emei Brings a Night at the Opera Tour to Dallas

Emei stopped in Dallas tonight for her tour, A Night at the Opera, based on the same EP she released this year. She performed at The Echo Lounge, and she had fans waiting to sing along with her. As a performer, Emei really gives it her all as she dances around the stage from one side to the other. She has great energy while she interacts with her band and the crowd when she talks to them during small breaks to explain songs or just hype the crowd up.
She gets on top of the platforms they had on the stage and really just lets her energy take over as she sings; it's a really captivating sight to see when artists do that. Even her guitarist would do that for some of the songs, and the crowd would love those moments as well. About midway through the show, Emei disappears and reappears in the middle of the floor with the crowd and has everyone sit with her as she sings more songs. Being in the audience feels different and more intimate than other shows. Emei is an artist who truly loves what she does and enjoys every single second of it, whether it's talking with the crowd or dancing and jumping around on stage; she gives it her absolute best. So, if you ever think you should go see her perform, do it; you won't be disappointed.
