Concert Review: Mon Rovia, Brooklyn Bowl, Philadelphia
In a fast-paced world filled with heavy emotions and constant uncertainty, experiencing Mon Rovîa live felt like a breath of fresh air. His music may sound simple on the surface, but the thought-provoking lyrics reveal an artist who understands the quiet power of words.

Concert Review: The Supernaturals at EartH London
The Supernaturals don’t need much fanfare, but a quick reminder of their place in the 90s tells you why this room reacted the way it did on this exciting evening of music at EartH, London. Back then they were everywhere - radio singles, festival stages, adverts you couldn’t escape. Anthemic songs that became part of the aesthetic of growing up in Britpop Britain. They wrote songs with hooks that wedged themselves into daily life.

Concert Review: Grandson at Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, TN
Brooklyn Bowl Nashville was already rumbling on Wednesday, November 12th before the lights dropped. The place was packed shoulder to shoulder, the lanes forgotten and the bar drowned out by the roar of a crowd that showed up ready to blow the roof off the building.

CONCERT REVIEW: MIGHTY MYSTIC AT SOUNDCHECK STUDIOS
A Jamaican-born, Somerville, Massachusetts-based reggae artist, Holness moved to Boston at the age of nine with his family. Singer-songwriter, record producer, he began performing as Mighty Mystic at a very young age. His 2006 single "Riding" and the "Clouds" received a large acclamation from the public. His debut album "Wake Up the World" (2010) included "Revolution", "Riding on the Clouds", "Original Love", and "Slipped Away", with appearances from Shaggy and roots rocker L

CONCERT REVIEW: COLIN HAY AT THE CHEVALIER THEATRE IN MEDFORD, MA
A "one-man show" is how I describe Colin Hay's solo show at the Chevalier Theatre on Thursday November 6, 2025. The performance was marvelous. It was a combination of Colin's tunes and his stories which were really fun.
"Reborn as a one-man show, Hay found that when he told audiences about his life, "People leaned in a bit closer."

Album Review: Ben Quad’s Wisher: Hope, Growth, and the Next Wave of Emo!
When Ben Quad released their debut, "I’m Scared That’s All There Is," in 2022, it captured a raw glimpse of uncertainty and youthful anxiety. With “WISHER,” out this Friday through Pure Noise Records, the Oklahoma-based band shifts the lens: the same emotional intensity becomes tempered by reflection, growth, and an underlying optimism. This 10-track album has it all: raw energy, sing-alongs, moments of reflection, angst, and incredible instrumentation.

Album Review: Finally Having Her Cake: Hayley Williams and the Exploration of Grief. Hayley Releases Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party
While most discover the ego in an introductory psychology class, Hayley Williams has known hers needed to die since she was fifteen years old, signing a twenty-year contract with a record label that would keep her in close musical confinement until she was thirty-five years old. In her time as the lead singer of Paramore, she’s experienced an entire lifetime. Ego Death At a Bachelorette Party is her first EP following the conclusion of her contract with Atlantic Records,

Concert Review: 40 years of Dream Theater at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York
Dream Theater brought their A-game to the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island last October 25 and as their last leg in the US Tour. As the only photographer that night, I had a front-row seat to the epic performance. The band tore through a blistering setlist, showcasing their incredible musicianship and precision. From the opening notes of "The Enemy Inside" to the epic closer "Scarred," the crowd was entranced.

Concert Review: Mudvayne, 25 Years of L.D. 50 Anniversary Tour w/ Static-X and Vended at The Wellmont Theater
Mudvayne is celebrating the 25th anniversary of their iconic debut album, L.D. 50, which was released in 2000. The tour, featuring opening performances by Vended and Static-X, recently made its 28th stop at The Wellmont Theater in Montclair, New Jersey last October 24, 2025. As a die-hard fan of Mudvayne, with one of my favorite bass players, Ryan Martinie, I don’t want to miss this show again, as I missed their performance in my city at Jones Beach Theater last year.

Concert Review: Moving Mountains Returns to the Stage to Embark on a New Chapter in Brooklyn New York
The weather is starting to change as I make my way up the stairs of the L subway stop at Jefferson Street in Brooklyn, New York. I stroll around the corner to find fans lining up at the Sultan Room to catch the exciting return of Moving Mountains. Tonight is a particularly special one, as it's Moving Mountains' first weekend of shows since performing together 8 years ago. Brooklyn is the second stop of a three-night show run that began in Philadelphia and will conclude in

Concert Review: Molly Grace Has All of the Bowery Ballroom 'Blush'ing on Her New York City Tour Stop
The sun is beginning to set as a crisp breeze moves over the streets of Manhattan. I make my way to Delancey Street on the Lower East Side through the hustle and bustle of the evening crowd. Nestled in between a sea of buildings, I found myself outside of the iconic Bowery Ballroom. A building that has become synonymous with the NYC music scene and one filled with a rich historical past. Tonight the line stretches well beyond the entrance, making its way down and around th
