In the summer of 2022, I worked as a production intern for BRIC Celebrate! Brooklyn, a multi-week community music festival in Prospect Park. The days were long and hard, but the joy that came from pulling off successful and memorable nights of music was worth it every time. One of my favorite shows came towards the end of the season where this up-and-coming group from New Zealand played to a massive crowd of excited indie rock fans.

The Mallett Brothers Band performed at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine, on December 6, 2025. Led by brothers Luke and Will Mallett (guitars, vocals) as core members, alongside Nick Leen (bass), Andrew Martelle (fiddle, piano, mandolin), and Brian Higgins (drums percussion), the country-rock band known for their energetic live shows was terrific. Playing in their own town where the group was formed in 2009, the Mallett Brothers Band had a simple goal that night:

The winter has begun to descend upon the east coast, with earlier sunsets and cooler temperatures bringing a slightly higher level of difficulty with traversing in a mainly walkable city. However, the stark contrast between the freezing temperatures outside and the warmth inside of packed out rooms always make the trek worth it, and Portugal. The Man certainly brought the heat with their show at Terminal 5.

On Thursday, December 4, 2025, The Allman Betts Family Revival performed in Connecticut at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford. The annual concert tour led by Devon Allman (Gregg Allman's son) and Duane Betts (Dickey Betts' son), celebrated the legacy of Allman Brothers Band through blues, rock, and Americana music is sponsored by Gibson Guitars.

November 25, 2025, All Time Low “Everyone’s Talking” The North American featuring Mayday Parade, Four Year Strong, and The Paradox, took place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. This marked the bands' second consecutive night in the city, and the audience exceeded all expectations with a completely sold-out crowd.

Don Broco tore into the Nottingham Motorpoint Arena on December 2nd with the kind of chaotic, electric energy only they can deliver. With a perfectly curated lineup of openers - Magnolia Park, State Champs, and Yonaka - the night felt set up to be huge from the start. The atmosphere was immediately loud and visceral, confirming that the packed arena was ready for an evening of relentless momentum, crowd-surfing, and mosh-pit euphoria.

Pink Talking Fish performed at Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, MA, on November 28, 2025. I love their fantastic concerts, and this concert was phenomenal, in terms of ambiance and attendance. It was a great show and a memorable night of music. The venue was packed to the rafters with enthusiastic and devoted PTF fans. Some people came from Cape Cod, Boston, New Hampshire and even Maine.

Dracula’s Ball descended upon Underground Arts on the most fitting date of all, Halloween. While the ball has gone through quite a few venue switches throughout its years, this switch was one that fit most like the days at Shampoo (R.I.P.) in the early 2000s. With one half of the venue with plush and table seating and a dance floor featuring DJs Spider and Zero and the larger room with live music, there was something for every EDM-loving ghoul and goblin in attendance.

The Band Camino, accompanied by Almost Monday, rolled into Chicago on their Never Always tour and turned The Salt Shed into a full-force celebration of everything fans love about the Nashville-born rock band. The trio—Spencer Stewart, Jeffery Jordan, and Garrison Burgess—have built a reputation on cathartic lyrics, airtight melodies, and vocals that hit every single time. On this night, they proved once again that their “no bad song” streak isn’t luck, it's craftsmanship.
