Just to stand there and think about all the people who had been in that venue in ancient days were truly mind-blowing. Savatage – while not nearly so ancient – have a storied history of their own. I've been a fan of the band since the very beginning, from my tape-trading days when I first discovered them to buying the Sirens album on its release date in 1983. During the 80s, I saw the band four times and photographed them twice in 1990 but I haven't seen them since.

Marking the twentieth anniversary of their self-titled album, Johnny Borrell and Andy Burrows of British indie sensations Razorlight delivered an incredible surprise performance at Covent Garden’s Stereo. July 18th, 2026, Sublimefest took over Zion Banks Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah let's talk about it. So, this was actually the first concert held at Zion Banks Stadium which normally is home to Major League Soccer's Real Monarchs, but the stadium transitioned nicely to a music festival grounds. Just like the Portland Stop on the tour getting in and out was an absolute breeze and having plenty of onsite parking made this a super convenient stop.

While wandering around I actually ran into a couple members of night one's headliners, Treaty Oak Revival. I thought it was so cool that the headliners were there bright and early, wandering around and interacting with people. It was nice to have a little chat with the guys about the recent shows, and the boys were excited to only have one more show after Minnesota before they got to head home for a few days. These types of interactions with bands were pretty common all week
