Award-winning bassist Oteil Burbridge, performing as a guest with the three musicians of LaMP, appeared at Somerville Theatre on October 9, 2026. The concert concluded a four-city benefit concert series in support of Make-A-Wish Vermont & Northeast New York, which grants life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.

According to James Hathaway, President & CEO of Make-A-Wish Vermont & Northeast New York, the recent four-city benefit concert series featuring Oteil and LaMP raised approximately $280,000 through ticket sales, sponsorships, and sales of special Oteil Burbridge teddy bears.

Speaking to the audience at the end of the performance, Hathaway humbly declared:

"Thank you to everyone who helped make our four-city concert series a success. These four remarkable evenings demonstrated the generosity of the music community and the power of bringing people together to help make wishes come true."

Oteil Burbridge joining forces with LaMP at Somerville Theatre featured Trey Anastasio Band drummer Russ Lawton, keyboardist Ray Paczkowski of the Trey Anastasio Band, Joe Russo's Almost Dead guitarist Scott Metzger, and guest bassist Oteil Burbridge.

Their music was fantastic, their jams incredible, and their melodic harmonies, combined with the interplay of Paczkowski's organ, were terrific. These talented musicians really delivered, and Oteil was a great addition to the lineup. It was a terrific night of music!
