It's time for a new review. Up today is Halocene featuring Holding Absence, "Bite My Tongue". Halocene has been my one of my favorite finds of 2025. They find a way to blend crunchy guitar riffs that just blend so perfectly with lead singer Addie Amick's sweet but powerful voice.

On Friday, June 20th, Muse unleashed “Unravelling”, their first new offering since the 2022 release “Will Of The People.” It’s a sonically weighty track that fans are hoping is the first single off of the UK trio’s tenth studio album rumored to be released some time next year. This band's sound has always been on the softer side of rock, but following their 2022 album, Pink Elephant is comprised of 10 songs, three of which are instrumental only! Tracks 1, 6 and 9 respectively.

Neither Halsey nor Amy Lee of Evanescence are strangers to having tracks involved with films, but the converging of the two wasn’t something that most people would have thought of. I just got done checking out "Long Way Back" by Sam Varga. It reminded me why I love new music and new artists so much. Hearing a song and then wanting to know more about them. What their influences are, just learning the road traveled.
