L.A. Guns: Lucky MF’rs In Millersville
Don't you just love it when one of your favorite bands comes to a strangely local venue? That's how the residents of Millersville and Lancaster, PA felt Sunday night when L.A. Guns, the glam metal kings of the Sunset Strip, paid the area a visit. As someone who lives in the middle of nowhere, I was not expecting any band of my liking to come to such a random and handy location anytime soon. L.A. Guns is currently at the start of their “Lucky MF’r” tour to celebrate their new

Asking Alexandria with From Ashes to New, Royale Lynn and What Lies Below at Buffalo Riverworks
On April 23rd, I made the short one hour drive to Buffalo Riverworks to cover the Asking Alexandria and From Ashes to New show! This was the first night of a spring tour for the two groups along with Royale Lynn and What Lies Below supporting! The Buffalo crowd at Riverworks was hyped, along with some chants of the “Shout” song breaking out proving you're at a Buffalo metal show! We kicked off the evening with What Lies Below!

Beach Bunny with Pool Kids at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, PA
The Beach Bunny show at The Fillmore Philadelphia was a testament to the growing popularity of indie pop and emo-tinged rock. Beach Bunny's headlining performance, complemented by Pool Kids' opening set, offered a night filled with catchy tunes, emotional lyrics, and an atmosphere of shared musical appreciation. For those who attended, it was an unforgettable evening of live music in the heart of Philadelphia.

Melissa Etheridge and Joss Stone Co-headlined The Wind Creek Events Center in Bethlehem, PA
Melissa Etheridge and Joss Stone have embarked on a 14 date co-headline tour of the eastern U.S.. I had not been so excited about a tour announcement in quite some time. When Joss last performed at the Wind Creek Event Center I was completely blown away and just had to see her again. Melissa is a timeless artist that I have seen many times throughout the years. She plays this area pretty often and treated everyone to a special setlist that included songs that do not always

Buffalo, NY, brought all the energy and devotion to welcoming The Funeral Portrait with support from The Rasmus, Archers, and Glasswaves. The Rec Room had a long line from the door, with people crowding to the front of the stage, and anticipation built as the music was about to start.

A Tale of Two Gowan Shows
Legend has it that there are no stranger animals than a few internet friends who desperately want to see their favorite artist. That being said, let me tell you a story about three 20-something-year-old gal pals who hopped international borders to see a Canadian national treasure: Lawrence Gowan. It's no secret that I'm a "Gowan gal", and I feel it's my duty as a Gowan fan in the United States to try and bring his solo career to the forefront as much as I can before he physic

DeWolff at The Garage, London
There are bands you enjoy, bands you admire — and then there are bands like DeWolff, who leave you standing in a packed room with your heart pounding and a ridiculous grin plastered across your face, wondering how music can feel this good.

Erja Lyytinen O2 Islington Academy2
In a world where true musicianship sometimes struggles to cut through the noise, Erja Lyytinen stands as a beacon of authenticity. On a special evening at o2 Islington Academy2, the Finnish blues sensation delivered a performance that felt less like a gig and more like the unveiling of a best-kept secret. For those of us lucky enough to witness it, it was clear: Erja Lyytinen deserves a much bigger stage here in Britain.

Ocean Colour Scene O2 Brixton Academy
For those of us who grew up with Moseley Shoals and Marchin’ Already as the soundtrack to our youth, Ocean Colour Scene’s latest live outing felt less like a gig and more like a deeply personal reunion. On a packed evening at O2 Brixton Academy, London: the band (including original members Simon Fowler, Steve Cradock, and Oscar Harrison) — proved that, while the years may have moved on, their music remains as vital and stirring as ever.

Two Nights of Moe in Portland, Maine
wo nights and two terrific shows; I had driven a long way from Boston to Portland to cover the two nights of Moe’s performance in Portland. The first show was at Portland House of Music and Events on April 17, 2025. It was a sold-out acoustic night. The second show was at the State Theatre, on April 18.
