Concert Review: Plymouth Bay House Charity Concert Featuring Mack Roberge of O.A.R. and Brian “Hitch” Hitchings with Aldous Collins at Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, MA

On April 30, 2026, Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts, welcomed Marc Roberge of O.A.R., joined by Brian “Hitch” Hitchings and Aldous Collins, for a sold-out charity concert in support of Plymouth Bay House.


Located in Plymouth, Massachusetts, Plymouth Bay House has served the South Shore community for over 36 years, providing support for individuals with mental health conditions. The organization offers vocational and educational resources, affordable meals, and a welcoming space for learning life skills and building strong personal connections.


The sold-out show was exceptional, drawing more than 500 fans to the venue. Hitchings and Collins opened the evening with a fantastic acoustic set. Their guitars sang and their harmonies filled the room, setting the tone for the night. Brian “Hitch” Hitchings is known for his sincere vocals and intimate acoustic grooves, while Aldous Collins, a South Shore–based singer-songwriter, brings infectious energy, blending folk, rock, and reggae into soulful, feel-good tunes. Together, the Hitchings/Collins collaboration created a magical atmosphere that enhanced the spirit of the charity event. The audience sang, danced, and celebrated with joy, marking the 36-year anniversary of Plymouth Bay House.



Around 9:00 p.m., headliner Marc Roberge took the stage. The American singer-songwriter and musician—best known as the lead vocalist of O.A.R. (Of A Revolution)—delivered an outstanding performance. Roberge’s voice and songwriting, which have defined O.A.R.’s sound for decades, captivated the audience from beginning to end. His acoustic set blended rock, reggae, and pop, creating an intimate and engaging atmosphere.


Roberge’s energy, passion, and genuine connection with the audience helped make the evening a major success for Plymouth Bay House, raising both awareness and donations in support of the organization’s mental health and educational mission. From start to finish, the performances captivated the crowd, making it a memorable night of music, community, and purpose.


The concert was a powerful example of people coming together to support a great cause—and having a great time doing it.
