After many years of anticipation, The German Metalcore/EDM powerhouse have finally brought their incredible show to American Arenas, and we couldn’t be more pleased. The vibes are never better than the dance floor of an Electric Callboy show. I’ve never seen a metal concert where the entire floor is jumping and dancing for the entire show! Seeing hundreds of fans dressed in their favorite Electric Callboy music video costumes has to be one of the coolest elements that their fans bring to the experience.
Getting to finally see this band for the first time as well as shooting my first arena show genuinely could not have gone any better. I’ve spent years watching them conquer the largest arenas and festivals across Europe just waiting for the day that we could get a taste of the party.
Literally all the hits you could ask for from “Hypa Hypa” to “Elevator Operator” paired with a stellar production rocked the Wintrust Arena.
The night also had a few touching moments like them bringing out their tour manager and popular YouTuber Ian (Tank the Tech) who is a Chicago native and has been documenting Electric Callboy tours since becoming their tour manager for the past few years.
Another moment came when a very young fan got invited on stage and got to play the drums after he completed his first ever crowd surf.
The last one came when vocalists Nico and Kevin and guitarist Daniel placed a piano in the middle of the crowd as they shared an intimate moment with their fans while singing acoustic renditions of “Fuckboi” and “Everytime We Touch”. A truly wonderful evening spent with the hottest band with the hottest moves from Germany.
