The Cabot Theatre in Beverly, Massachusetts welcomed Pink Talking Fish on May 2, 2026. The hybrid tribute band seamlessly melds together the sounds of three of the world’s most beloved bands—Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, and Phish. It was an excellent show in a stunning venue. The incredible ambiance added to the nearly sold-out show at the Cabot.
With their remarkable lineup—Eric Gould on bass, Richard James on keyboards, Zack Burwick on drums, and Cal Kehoe on guitar—Pink Talking Fish elevated their music to another level. Eric, Richard, Zack, and Cal have been playing together for many years, and it shows. Their chemistry and musicianship are nothing short of phenomenal.
Watching their energy on stage, there is no doubt they share a profound love for the music of the bands they honor. Their mission is clear: to remind us of the lasting impact of musicians such as David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Syd Barrett, Richard Wright, Nick Mason, Bob Klose, David Byrne, Jerry Harrison, Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz, Adrian Belew, Trey Anastasio, Jon Fishman, Mike Gordon, and Page McConnell. These artists created extraordinary songs that, even after all these years, remain fresh, invigorating, and original.
Pink Talking Fish performs with consistent precision and boundless energy, and no two sets are ever the same. The power of their show comes not from any single song, but from the way the entire performance fits together as a cohesive musical journey.
The narrative of Pink Talking Fish continues to evolve, and their live performances are consistently exhilarating. Listening to the band in Beverly was an invitation to experience the ultimate fusion tribute—a unique celebration of music that leaves a lasting impression. A Pink Talking Fish show is a perfect night of music, delivered by talented musicians who genuinely share a vision and passion for these iconic sounds.
These musicians live and breathe the music they perform, and their goal is to elevate the audience’s connection to it by creating something new and different at every show. They accomplished exactly that at the Cabot Theatre in Beverly. It was truly an incredible night.
