Concert Review: Prince Daddy & The Hyena at Empire Underground in Albany, NY

Prince Daddy & The Hyena kicked off their tour for the new album "Hotwire Trip Switch" on 5/3 in their hometown of Albany, NY at Empire Underground.

The night kicked off with hardcore band Restraining Order from Western Massachusetts/Connecticut.  Their aggressive, no-frills set immediately set the tone for the evening.

Following them was pop punk influenced Remo Drive from Minnesota. Their energetic performance was the perfect segway to the main act.

Finally, Prince Daddy & The Hyena took the stage, starting their set with songs from their new album, including "24-03-04_Birthday_B4" and "Big Box-Store Heart". Crowd surfers filled the air as soon as the first song started, and the energy kept up for the rest of the night.
