The Ocean City boardwalk has always had its own soundtrack: the crash of waves, the hum of arcades, the rattle of roller coasters, and the hiss of fryers turning out another round of Thrasher’s fries. But for three days in late September, the soundtrack was bigger, louder, and impossible to ignore.
