Lauren Sanderson – LAUREN
Release Date: May 29, 2026
Record Label: Pack Records
Number of Tracks: 10
Lauren Sanderson released a brand-new album in May titled LAUREN. The first track, “Come Say Sum,” featuring Fred Durst, feels like getting hit with the best feeling possible. It has everything you could want. The song has angst, energy beyond belief, and a relatable, hypnotic sensation that leaves the listener wanting more. The bratty attitude behind every word is electric.
Good luck getting out alive
I don't like to fake nice
"Aw, I didn't mean to hurt you"
I heard that all my life
Lauren Sanderson is a queer artist who says exactly what she wants and isn't afraid of anything. This is Sanderson's third album release, and I predict it won't be the last. The entire album is full of in-your-face verses that are unapologetic to the core. The track “Spell It Out” is especially attention-grabbing due to its clever play on words, which pulls the listener in even further.
“Aye, come here and let Lauren solve your problems
B, can you bully me into being your bottom?”
I believe Lauren knew exactly what she was doing when she came up with the concept for this album. It screams, “I am here, and I am not going anywhere, so deal with it!” She has never been afraid to be unapologetically her true self; this self-titled album is just that: authentic and real. I think a lot of individuals who need a push to embrace their true selves would benefit from LAUREN.
Each song has its own alluring magic. Every word and brilliant beat is so raw that it practically shouts, “You better listen!” and then demands another playthrough.
It brings you back to the early 2000s, when there was a certain power behind tracks that blended nu-metal, alternative, hip-hop, rock, and metal into one sound. This album is one hundred percent nostalgia while still being something that exists in a category of its own.
The track listing for the album is as follows:
Come Say Sum
Possessive
Smoking Section
Shut Up and Kiss Me
Girls Night
MySpace Girls
Make It Make Sense
Spell It Out
Trampoline
Are You Really Here?
