Truly, a bulletproof lineup – not only the sinister Uncle Alice, a man who not only invented shock-rock but boasts a discography so varied and full of gems that he could be deemed a genre all by himself, but the mighty Judas Priest, the first band to unapologetically declare itself to be a heavy metal band in the 1970s.  Priest may not have invented metal (Sabbath did), but before JP, no band not only admitted, but chest-beatingly boasted that they were, in fact heavy metal. 

The Darkness brought their raw, energetic rock and roll to the new Archer Music Hall in Allentown, PA! This was my third time seeing The Darkness and they are as good as ever. They performed 20 songs in a just under 2-hour set throwing in a few surprises along the way.

The sun is shining as I stroll along the cobblestones of Ybor City. The surrounding architecture and roosters strutting in the road give a glimpse into the history of this historic place. Tonight, I find myself at Crowbar on the corner of N 17th Street and E 8th Ave, where fans line up, with tangible excitement, to see the immensely talented Caroline Kingsbury and MARIS share the stage. 

Performing across Fenway Park, Home to the Red Sox, the oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball and one of the most well-known sports venues in the world, on September 22, 2025, X Ambassadors delivered an amazing live music performance filled with energy, passion, and creating an atmosphere of excitement among several thousands of fans present at the venue.  

Riot Fest 2025 was everything I hoped for and then some. Held again in Chicago's Douglas Park, the festival delivered three amazing days filled with punk, metal, emo, and everything in between. With a lineup that was a perfect balance of nostalgia for both the older generation and my generation, while also showcasing the new emerging acts. This year’s lineup was a perfect blend to honor the bands that defined a genre of music and highlighted newer acts.

Bilmuri’s sold out stop at The Fillmore Charlotte was nothing short of a party disguised as a concert. From the moment Johnny Franck walked on stage, grinning ear to ear, it was clear the night would be special. He comes across as one of the most genuine, happy, and grateful performers I have ever seen—someone who truly appreciates every person in the room.

Saturday night was another honor—another electric jolt to the soul—to witness The Melvins in all their glorious variations and side-project splendor. King Buzzo, as he’s affectionately known to his loyal tribe, returned once again, this time with a lineup that felt like a fever dream of rock royalty.

Quinn XCII lit up The Fillmore Philly on September 9 with a high-voltage set that blurred the lines between alt-pop, punk energy, and raw emotion. From Georgia Peach chaos to the slow swaying of Midwest Mon Lisa, the night was a rollercoaster—and fans were here for every second of it. I had the pleasure of shooting Bayside’s second Charlotte night of the Errors Tour, and the band did not disappoint. Playing back-to-back nights in the same city is no easy feat, but Bayside made it feel effortless, delivering a set that was both sharp and spontaneous.

The Neverest Duality tour was united by musicians Halestorm and Lindsey Stirling on September 16, 2025, at the Upstate Medical University at The Oncenter War Memorial in Syracuse, New York.
