What inspired the theme or concept behind this album? The record I named ‘Too Pop For Punk... Too Punk To Care’ because I thought it was a fun and appropriate play on words which really describes what it is I do. I mesh punk, rock and roll and power pop into my own sound. It isn’t reinventing the wheel by any stretch but it is all the music I loved and listened to growing up and eventually playing and performing in groups of those genres.

What inspired the creation of this single? "No Obedience" started with the riff. At the time, I was exploring the idea of subtle disobedience (the small, everyday ways we can push back against systems and expectations that keep us contained). When I brought the demo to my producers, we talked more deeply about the concept, and I realized that subtle didn’t really go far enough. What’s the point of resisting halfway? What inspired the creation of this single? The track was written in a flurry of anger and catharsis, beginning with a single question: What would it feel like if what was done to me was thrown back at the person who did it? What story or message does the song convey? "Cement" is a revenge fantasy that ultimately ends with the realization that the best way to heal is to walk away from what's hurt you.

What inspired the theme or concept behind this album? When you lose the only thing you have loved for your life what do you do… you end up dead. Were there any particular events or emotions that shaped the songwriting? Over the course of a year our song writing was changed by many struggles with recording we endured staying late after school to record songs changing the story all to create one masterpiece.
