LoveSikk releases debut EP "Songs 4 Sad Girls & Bois"

On August 22, 2025- Emo pop-punk band; LoveSikk released their debut EP "Songs 4 Sad Girls & Bois" that gives off nostalgic 2000's vibes of old Paramore and a hint of Kelly Clarkson as well. With the release of the EP; the focus track is "That Kind of Love" and it felt like I was being transported back to my teenage years with how authentic, poppy, and energetic the song is.

"I feel like a lot of music written today is very nostalgia-core! I wanted to take you through a deep dive starting in my childhood growing watching Disney movies to when I was in high school and goi through my first break up, fast forward to now, where I am in the best relationship ever and overjoyed to be so happy! Also being a big Avril fan, I threw a couple nods to her within the song!" - LoveSikk

“Songs 4 Sad Girls & Bois is for anyone going through it! I wanted to release an EP for of course the emo pop punk fans but also for absolutely anyone who is going through a tough time with bullies, mental health, just life in general. I want people to be able to relate to the music and the lyrics and say: Yes! I know exactly what she means because I’m going through that too! Music is so therapeutic and a lot of my favorite bands like Avril, Paramore, Simple Plan, Escape The Fate, etc got me through the rough times. I wanted to be able to contribute and give something back!" - LoveSikk
