MARSHFIELD, MA – (February 19, 2025) – Levitate, New England’s homegrown creative brand, announced their lineup for their 13th annual Levitate Music & Arts Festival, set to take place July 12th and 13th, 2025, at the Marshfield Fairgrounds in Marshfield, MA.

Building on last year’s milestone 11th festival anniversary and 22 years of Levitate as a creative voice for New England, this year’s celebration of music, art, and community features an eclectic

music lineup and all new features and experiences. The 2025 lineup is headlined by hometown heroes Stick Figure, who return to Levitate Festival by extremely popular demand, after a national sold out tour in 2024. Stick Figure will be joined by Levitate fan favorites Dispatch and The Revivalists, paired with a stellar roster that also includes genre blurring bass icon Thundercat, dreamy alt pop groove master Still Woozy, ascendant reggae rockers The Elovaters, reggae superstar Protoje, and dynamic powerhouse Ripe. Joining these artists are the electrifying and diverse acts Lawrence, Dogs In A Pile, Mihali, Top House, Hush Club, and many more.

In partnership with the Levitate Foundation, this year’s festival will take the tradition of blending national touring acts with rising local talent to the next level with the all new Levitate Foundation Songwriter’s Stage. This unique central stage is designed to showcase the power of creativity and expression in the community, offering emerging artists the opportunity to perform in front of tens of thousands of fans. Anchored by special guests Hans Williams and Lily Fitts, two of New England’s fastest-growing songwriters, the stage will also feature intimate sets from winners of Levitate Foundation’s national “Songwriter Of The Year” contest. Unsigned artists will submit their clips to be evaluated by a special panel, with finalists being awarded an all-expenses-paid trip to perform on stage. The overall winner will be awarded the title “Levitate Songwriter Of The Year”, along with a grant to fund an album produced by a notable studio professional in their genre.

Daniel Hassett, Founder of Levitate, shares, “For years, one of the things we’ve been most proud of has been the chance to have the Levitate Festival and brand serve as a platform for emerging artists. For so many out there, they need somebody to believe in their art and provide that little gift of time, space, and exposure that can make all the difference.

Through the new Levitate Foundation Songwriter Stage, we’re excited and grateful to have the opportunity to provide this to emerging artists who truly deserve a chance.”

Further expanding their dedication to the arts, the Levitate Foundation is also launching the Artist Showcase, where one standout visual artist will win a featured gallery at the Levitate Music Festival and receive a grant for an artist residency. Songwriters and Artists can submit their work for both contests at www.levitatefoundation.org.

Levitate is also looking to further bring the Culinary Arts to life at this year’s festival by partnering with Spoonfuls, a 501(c)(3) on a mission to keep good food from going to waste. Through food recovery, they prevent more than 5.5 million pounds of fresh food from hitting landfills while feeding nearly 400,000 people across Massachusetts each year. The “Spoonfuls Culinary Experience + Lounge” is a very special opportunity to enjoy world-class food and drink from star regional chefs each evening. Limited tickets will be available for this experience in combination with all VIP amenities, with a portion of all proceeds benefiting Spoonfuls.
