On August 27, 2025- Baltimore hardcore band Ousted released their newest single "Reflections" and announced that their EP How Do You Cope? will be released on September 19 via Ashtray Monument Records. "Reflections" is the perfect example of musicians who are straight to the point and starts the single off with vocals that radiates the feeling of knowing that life is short and sometimes you have to realize that death is right behind you. And that you need to accept who you are. This single has urgency to it and it forces the listener to understand that life is filled with obstacles and it's your choice if you want to succumb to yourself or move on.
Vocalist Sean Reilly shares:
“I wrote this in response to getting older, being closer to death, and the feeling of hanging on for dear life some days. On lieu of all that, it touches on the idea of accepting and rejecting certain inherited aspects of personality and behaviors.”
