Concert Review: Plush at Piere's in Ft. Wayne, IN!

Updated: Aug 30

On August 21, 2025 Plush headlined at Piere’s in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Five bands from the surrounding area were also there in support of Plush.  Earth Below Us, Exit 73, The Precibus, Norumundy and Days of Disaster all took turns heating that stage all the way up to high for Plush.

The first to take the stage was Earth Below us, traveling to Piere’s from Detroit, Michigan.  They immediately caught the crowd’s attention with their unique sound.  Per their Facebook bio, they describe their sound as if Bucket Head had a baby with Sublime, and the dude from Seether was watching in the corner.  I’m not quite sure if the dude from Seether was in the birthing suite, or in the corner during conception, but this description was spot on.  They had the crowd hyped and wondering what would be next.  Go check out their social media for future announcements on upcoming shows.

Normundy, from the Indianapolis area, absolutely slayed the stage next.  The whole set was pure thrill, sending high-energy vibes that could be felt throughout the whole venue.  They have a perfectly blended sound of rock and rap.  They took us on an adventure with their performance.  The crowd went absolutely bat-shit crazy when they played a phenomenal cover of “Bleed it Out” by Linkin Park.  True Linkin Park fans are picky with covers, but Normundy did not let us down.  At one point during the show, Joshua (Joshua D-day) pounced up onto the barricade, leapt over, out into the crowd and initiated a circle-pit.  That wasn’t the end of it, as he then popped up onto a near-by table top.  Normundy wasn’t going to settle for anything less than a hyper crowd, as they one-hundred percent deserve.

The Precibus stormed out next, grabbing the people and taking them to another dimension, gripping the attention of everyone with their genre-blending along the way.  It was a raw emotional experience.  Their music has clarity and direction and has power rhythms that hook the audience.  They played 30 minutes straight, no talking, just music.  Their songs not only pound away, they built the atmosphere and gave a healthy serving of tension before breaking into explosive moments of pure head-bangable rock.  You can tell they love what they’re doing.  Give them a follow on Facebook and Instagram.  They have an insanely active presence online.

Following The Precibus, with their astonishing performance, Exit 73 took the stage.  They possess a clean, old-school rock/heavy rock/metal sound.  It was giving very 2000’s nu-metal feels.  Not only did they have a killer set, you could tell the crowd was really captivated.  The frontman of the band interacted with the crowd and spoke about their travels and asked the crowd who had seen them live before.  That interaction had the crowd feeling as if they were a part of the show and not just watching the show.

Days of Disaster came out next to heat the stage up for Plush to come out.  They are a fairly new band to hit the scene.  They are rapidly improving with each and every show.  They have multiple shows in Indiana, and surrounding areas lined up already.  They have a unique sound with a highly energetic frontman.  It is obvious that they are dedicated to going places. Check out their facebook for future shows, so that you can check them out, too! By the end of their set, they had COOKED! Stage fully pre-heated for Plush.

Plush stole the entire show with their fierce performance.  This all female rock band composed of members Moriah, Ashley and Faith headlined the night.  They are the owners of powerful vocals, mad musical talent, electrifying energy and an extremely polished style.  These girls came out with a performance that proves the evolution of feminine, bad-assery.  They are a powerhouse of pure unfiltered girl power.  They are fearless, unapologetic, and effortlessly amazing.  They played their newest single “Why”, and a favorite “Athena”, among other great originals.  I don’t think they have a bad song.  Faith recently celebrated her third year with the band.  The girls have a connection that is not only seen but felt.  Equal parts lace and hellfire, they SERVED, scolding hot to finish off a fantastic night of music.

Piere’s truly does host some of the most underrated locals and openers.  I was once told to never sleep on the openers, and I never have. So much incredible talent was in that venue that Thursday night.  I hope the best to every musician and band that played this show. Absolutely no crumbs were left.
