Concert Review: Mihali at Infinity Music Hall, Hartford, CT

On December 14, 2025, the Infinity Music Hall in Harford, CT, welcomed Mihali as part of his MihaliDãze tour. The special guests were Dale and the ZDubs. The show started at 8:00 p.m. with Dale and the ZDubs as the opener. Inspired by Dale’s 2017 and 2020 incarceration for a non-violent drug crime, Dale and the ZDubs is a rock reggae band out of Washington DC. The band’s songs are about relationships, dreams, failures and people that have inspired or slept with them. The band has been known for their high energy live shows featuring hip-hop collaborations, multi-part vocal harmonies, and radical solos from bass, guitar, drums, keyboards, and harmonica.

This group is unique by telling raw, ridiculous, and vulnerable stories while thrilling audiences across the United States. “We are storytellers. And when we tell stories, there are no click tracks, no vocal processing, and no backing tracks. WE PLAY LIVE!”

The band members: Dale Rodman (vocals/guitar), Mark King (bass, vocals), Josh Boyd (lead guitar), Ethan Jones (drums, vocals) are exceptional. They blend groovy reggae influences with a hard-hitting rock style.

At 9:30 p.m. Mihali as the headliner came on stage. Mahali and his band joined Dale and the Zdubs on stage and the combined bands were exceptional. A Mihali concert is a special event, a place to see other Mihali addicts and make new friends. It is a special experience to hear fantastic, some new tunes and other songs that we have heard for ages and absolutely love. Everyone’s emotions are high and you can shut your eyes and be consumed by the music. Mihali and his band members give all they have and the audience responds with extreme excitement and love. The Vermont-based singer, songwriter, guitarist, and co-founder of rock band Twiddle is terrific.

Dale and the ZDubs were a great opener and set the bar high but Mihali easily surpassed it. His band is really tight and everyone feeds off each other. The jams flowed from one song to each other, taking the audience on an amazing mystical trip. He puts his whole being into his Reggae influenced Jam band concerts. The Mihali fans were in musical heaven, dancing and singing along. The music was beautiful, emotional and supercharged. The horn players (are terrific and they are in my opinion some of the best musicians. The drummer Adrian Tramontano is just exceptional. The keyboard player (Ryan Dempsey) and the bass player (Zdenek Gubb) help create the amazing Jams. Mahali and his band created the most incredible Jan band concert.

I have been following Mihali since Covid, when he was the lead singer of Twiddle, a jam band from Vermont. I distinctly remember Mihali and friends’ first performance at Levitate Music Festival, and I admire their exceptional brand of unique music, Reggae meets Rock. I still cannot wait for their next concert.

I love Mihali and I have been to many of his shows but in my opinion, this was the best!! I would happily go to many more Mahai concerts!!!!!
