Hail, hail Black Sheep! Labor Day weekend Dorothy brought her powerful Redemption Tour to
Clyde Theatre in Fort Wayne, IN on August 31st, 2025.
Eddie And the Getaway launched the evening with a commanding, high-octane rock
performance that sustained an electrifying stadium-like atmosphere throughout their entire set.
Their dynamic stage presence and nostalgic nods to early 2000s rock left a lasting impression.
I'm always thrilled to discover new talent through opening acts, and Eddie and the Getaway is
certainly, one to watch, poised for a meteoric rise in the music industry. They were an excellent
addition to the tour as they opened for Dorothy.
The atmosphere underwent a profound transformation as a blue haze enveloped the stage,
captivating the audience's senses. For the ensuing 90 minutes, Dorothy commanded the
undivided attention of all in attendance, as each band member took their position. Launching into
a rousing performance of "Down to the Bottom", Dorothy showcased her mastery of rock and
roll, highlighting her exceptional vocal range through a selection of iconic hits, including "Mud", "Rest in Peace", and "Medicine Man".
Observing the legendary lead vocalist of rock was only the precursor to a phenomenal night, as
the synergy between Dorothy and her bandmates Sam Bam, Jake Hayden, and Trev Lukather all
played out in perfect harmony throughout the entire concert.
