The five-member, all-female South Korean rock band Rolling Quartz rolled into Austin as they wrap up their third North American tour, with just two stops remaining after tonight’s performance.

Formed in 2020, the band—consisting of lead vocalist Jayoung, lead guitarist Iree, bassist Arem, guitarist Hyunjung, and drummer Yeongeun—has steadily gained popularity. It is rare these days for a band to play without an opener, but Rolling Quartz didn’t need one. They took the stage one by one with infectious, larger-than-life smiles to loud cheers from the packed venue.

They opened their high-energy set with "Re.Bold" from their current album Roll the Dice, followed by a top-notch cover of "Seven Nation Army." Their nearly 90-minute set spanned their six-year discography, including a bold cover of Queen’s "Bohemian Rhapsody" that led into a guitar solo medley of classic rock riffs like Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train." Their instrumental prowess, stage presence, and genuine chemistry made for a truly special performance.
