Concert Review: Descendents at The Underground – Charlotte, NC

The Descendents, punk rock pioneers, were graciously greeted at The Underground by fans of all ages. When I say all ages, I mean generations worth of fans. It wasn’t uncommon to see day one fans with their kids, singing along and having a grand old time….it was a beautiful sight to see. 

I’ve seen Descendents once before, but this time felt different. I saw nothing but smiles from the band, fans and crew. Given that the band was first established almost 50 years ago…you’d think they would just be going through the motion. That was definitely not the case, they played that night with the energy of a first gig and it was so rad. 

I feel honored to have had the opportunity to see them play live, and the cherry on top was being able to capture these moments…enjoy.
