August Burns Red and The Amity Affliction brought their co-headlining tour to
Minneapolis, and for a Tuesday night, the crowd showed up ready to bring the energy.
The Amity Affliction recently released their new album “House of Cards” this April,
marking their first release since former vocalist and bassist Ahren Stringer’s departure
last February. They opened their set with newer material but still made sure to include
fan favorites like “Pittsburgh” and “Soak Me in Bleach.” The setlist was a great mix of
new songs and classics. Overall, the performance was solid, sounded fantastic, and the
crowd was fully engaged and singing along.
Setlist:
1. Kickboxer
2. Like Love
3. Drag the Lake
4. Heaven Sent
5. All That I Remember

August Burns Red:
I wasn’t very familiar with August Burns Red going in, but they honestly impressed me a
lot. The whole band was incredibly in sync, not just with their sound, but also in how
they moved and interacted on stage. It made their performance really engaging to
watch. Since they’ve been a band for over 20 years, it’s no surprise how tight and
polished they are live.
I also want to give a shoutout to their lighting tech, the visuals throughout their set were
super cool and added a lot to the overall vibe of the performance.
Setlist:
1. Meddler
2. Back Burner
3. Invisible Enemy
4. The Nameless
5. Behemoth
6. Bloodletter
7. The Eleventh Hour
8. Paramount
9. Empire
10. Exhumed
11. Marianas Trench
12. Drum Solo
13. Composure
14. White Washed
Overall, it was a fun night with strong performances from both bands and a crowd that
kept the energy high from start to finish.
