Shyeye releases an intense single "Nothing"

On October 24, 2025- Nashville based musician; Shyeye released her newest single "Nothing" that's the perfect blend of emo and post-hardcore that radiates nostalgia. "Nothing" is filled with raw emotion's which captures the feeling of being stuck in a dark void of numbness that can feel relatable at times because sometimes we look for someone to fill in voids we have, but it's finally time to speak out and realize that you don't need another person to fill in that emptiness. This song is about self-awareness because during the chorus; the lyricism is stating that they know how it ends and that they've seen this cycle before. You can sense the exhaustion in the vocals trying to express that you shouldn't feel afraid to break that cycle and to understand that voids can be filled with other things that can bring you happiness.

“I kept trying to fill my own emptiness through other people. The lyrics sound like  begging, and that’s exactly what it is. It’s me trying to get someone else to fill a void out of fear  of being alone. "Nothing" is me admitting that pattern and finally calling it out.” - Shyeye
