Music Review: NorthFork's Single I'll Be Fine

Today I got the honor of discovering and reviewing a new band NorthFork and their new single "I'll Be Fine". Hailing from Tuolumne, California NorthFork has an interesting sound reminding me of much of the early 2000's rock with a hint of the sound you frequently find in modern country rock.

Think if Seether was contracted to be the supporting band for Hardy.

"I'll Be Fine" is just an easy listen. Nothing seems out of place. It's high-quality rock without overdoing it or trying too hard.

Lead singer Cianan Brennan delivers vocals that sit perfectly in the mix. Well produced vocals that are clean and clear but with just enough grit.

"I'll Be Fine" lyrically is very intriguing. On one hand it's so easy to lean into it and sing along. So easy to see yourself on the rail screaming along stuck to a beer-soaked floor. Yet on the other hand the lyrics convey a feeling that is familiar, being in a relationship realizing it's time to walk away, that it's been time to walk away. Dealing with all the emotions that come with that type of realization and then coming to the conclusion that through it all you will be fine.

"I'll Be Fine" is out now and to all my rock friends who like their rock with just a little bit of country style storytelling, I highly recommend checking it out. I know personally I am going to be keeping my eyes glued to https://www.northforkband.com/ and looking for a tour date near me.
