Denton, Texas-based indie rock outfit Saint Blonde are back with their electrifying new single “Dirty $$$,” out now via Pale Chord/Rise Records/BMG. The track delivers an upbeat surf-rock swagger, fused with defiant punk energy, driving rhythms, and infectious hooks that showcase the band’s trademark ability to balance raw grit with soaring melodies.

Speaking on the track, vocalist Hunter Fitch shares: “Dirty $$$ is a fitting eulogy for the generation that transformed the American Dream into a pyramid scheme. It revels in the animal instincts driving those who built McMansion mausoleums on private streets named after the forests they bulldozed. It might as well be the death rattle of a generation whose golden years have been spent defending the same economic systems that will ultimately bury them alone. “Dirty $$$” embodies the psychological violence of these systems, and the mindsets they foster that benefit the present few at the expense of the future many. “

Accompanying the release, Saint Blonde have unveiled a chaotically fun and playfully absurd claymation/animated music video for “Dirty $$$,” directed by Baby Cry Animations.  Packed with possessed clones, bank heists, tiny bears, and more clay cash than anyone could ever dream of, the visual perfectly matches the track’s rebellious and kinetic energy, making for a must-watch experience.

“Dirty $$$” follows the band’s latest single “Gimme My Flowers” released this past July, along with their anthemic late-2024 tracks “Trendsetter” and “Prowl.” Produced by Courtney Ballard (5 Seconds Of Summer, All Time Low, Waterparks), the single further cements Saint Blonde as one of the most exciting rising acts in modern indie rock.
