CONCERT REVIEW: THE MACHINE AT THE MUSIC HALL IN PORTSMOUTH, NH

On Saturday November 1, 2025, The Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH, welcomed The Machine. Celebrating 50 years of Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were There”, The Machine has performed live in front of a large audience the best Pink Floyd songs including “Shine on Your Crazy Diamond”, “Wish You Were Here”, “Comfortably”, “Time”, “Echoes”, etc.

It was an exceptional night of music.

One of the oldest U.S. Pink Floyd tribute bands formed in 1988 by Tahrah Cohen and Joe Pascarell, The Machine has performed many shows around the world. Beginning as a cover band that played gigs local to the Rockland County, NY area, in 1989 they started to perform full-time playing Pink Floyd Music exclusively and soon became one of the best tribute bands performing Pink Floyd songs.

Taking the stage with a list of talented musicians including Chris DeAngelis (bass, vocals), Scott Chasolen (keyboards, vocals), Tahrah Cohen (drums), Ryan Ball (lead guitar, vocals), The Machine once again continued to forge a 30+ year reputation of extending the musical legacy of Pink Floyd.

At the Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH, The Machine continued on to celebrate the music of Pink Floyd and to honor the life of Joe Pascarell, who co-founded the band with Tahrah in 1988.
