Concert Review: Sessanta V2.0 PNC Music Pavillion

On May 10, 2025, I had the incredible opportunity to capture Sessanta V2.0, featuring Puscifer, Primus, and A Perfect Circle. For those that don’t know, this unique event honored Maynard James Keenan’s 60th birthday.

This was unlike any other show that I’ve shot. Instead of shooting the first 3 songs, all photographers were notified that we will shoot only the last song (approx. 7 mins long). At first, I thought, this is odd…but it all made sense in the end.

Unlike traditional concerts, Sessanta V2.0 featured all three bands perform on stage simultaneously. The show unfolded in a series of rotating mini-sets, with musicians from each group interchanging seamlessly. This fluid structure created a dynamic and immersive experience, keeping the audience engaged throughout the night. Even during those mini-sets, all bands remained on stage (top riser, on couches). 

One important thing that I never thought would be possible…there was a very strict NO PHOTOGRAPHY (even cellphone) during the entire show…with the exception of the last song. It was absolutely brilliant and took me back to the days when we were all present.
