Soundcheck Studios located on Boston’s South Shore is a wonderful live music venue,
with great atmosphere, lights and sound and with some great up and coming bands and
these two were great!!!!
As part of their New England Tour, One Time Weekend stopped at Soundcheck
Studios, in Pembroke, MA, on March 27, 2026, for one set live performance with the
indie rock band Knot Art as the opener. Several hundreds of fans attended the concert.
It was a terrific night of music.
Knot Art as the opener hit the stage at 8:15 p.m. An indie rock band from Boston, MA,
the group blends alternative rock, folk, jazz, and pop. Their current lineup includes Sam
Boyles (vocals), JC Hernandez (bass), Rich Clark (guitar), Tyler Davis (drums), and
Elijah Mc Tigue (keys).
Known for their electrifying live shows, Knot Art delivers an unforgettable high-energy
performance in Pembroke. Releasing albums and singles like "Golly, Good Grief" and
"Eventually, Eventually," Knot Art’s music is described as tense and evocative, with
rhythmic math-rock influences.
At 9:30 p.m. One Time Weekend as the headliner came on the stage. A mix of funk,
rock, and jam band styles, their music is described as euphoric, dynamic with original
tempo. The group is also known for original music and a high-energy live show.
Releasing multiple albums, the group played different songs from their rich catalog such
as Soda Pop Jesus, Deeper Shade of Blue, Gandalf, Omelet, Dongo Bongo! etc.
Very well-known in the Northeast, they toured with bands like Twiddle, Pigeons Playing
Ping Pong, and High Fade, and hosted the annual “Masquerade of Madness” event in
Hartford. Over the last ten years, the band has released four studio albums.
The Hartford, Connecticut-based quartet formed in 2016, is composed of Adam Eytan
(guitar/vocals), Ian D’Arcangelo (bass, vocals), Ben Sullivan (drums), Alex Giosa
(percussion) and Sam McGarrity (guitar, vocals).
“We Groove – You Move” is the mantra of One Time Weekend – said Adam Eytan, the
front man of the band.
One Time Weekend’s performance was exceptional. The setting, the fantastic sound,
the dazzling light shows, everything was perfect for a successful night of music.
