Of Monsters and Men had their Dallas tour stop yesterday at the Bomb Factory for the Mouse Parade tour. It was their first tour in over six years; they played new songs off their new album named All is Love and Pain in the Mouse Parade. They started off the show with the song Television Love which hits you with these synths that you hear throughout the song that will tickle the brain in a good way. Along with vocals that are smooth like in classic monster and men fashion. There was a moment in the show where the band talked to the crowd about how in Iceland, there is a little miscommunication about harmonicas and accordions. It was a funny little story, and they said they didn’t have either of those things to play in their songs.
They had an encore where they played two songs, one song being Love. Love is a song that has a misleading title but isn’t exactly a love song, and Fruit Bat. The band has a great stage presence and emanates the rock star energy and are a band that people love as they have the entire crowd dancing and singing all of their songs.
