Concert Review: Five Finger Death Punch with Cody Jinks and Eva Under Fire at Ruoff Music Center in Nobelsville, IN

We were definitely not in bad company at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, IN on August 8th, 2026 when Five Finger Death Punch brought their high energy, heavy alternative metal production to the stage in celebration of their 20-year anniversary. Support bands Cody Jinks and Eva Under Fire really got the place hyped up.  Previous reviews have made claims that the show is inconsistent or had sound issues, however this was not the case last Saturday at Ruoff.  The vibes and sound were all incredible.  The tour kicked off July 20, 2026 for the massive 48 city run.  

Eva Under Fire, from Michigan, brought out their hard rock anthems with their fierce female singer and a beat that immediately caused an awakening from the crowd.  Amanda or “Eva Marie” obtained full attention with her compelling energy and stage presence.  The drummer, Dave Miller II had his drum set up close and personal, which was so cool to see him totally rock out.  Eva Under fire did not disappoint.  I was ecstatic to be there and based off of the crowd reaction, I believe they also were loving it.  New song, “Villianous” is out now, featuring Maria Brink of In This Moment.  I urge you to go check it out.  I am obsessed.

Next on the bill was Cody Jinks.  Although not quite the same sound as either Eva Under Fire or Five Finger Death Punch, he still brought some immense talent to the amphitheater.  Definitely country, with a true honky-tonk, southern rock sound, some of the crowd was confused, but at the same time, they made comments about how talented he is and gave him the attention he deserved.  

Five Finger Death Punch came out to totally place ownership of that stage.  Frontman, Ivan Moody had the crowd engaged from the very start.  With crowd interaction from the get go, and an energy that couldn’t be contained to one spot for long at all, the people did not dare look away.  Traditionally, as photojournalists, we shoot the first three songs, but this night we got the fourth, fifth and sixth songs.  It was a different change of pace, but it allowed us to line up waiting to get into the pit by the barricade.  In turn, a spectacular view of the first three songs of the show was had.  So I can confirm, with my full attention on enjoying the show (not shooting the first three), they had a grand opening.  The lights were beautiful, some sparkling pyrotechnics and that amazing Five Finger Death Punch sound filled my soul with joy.  I’ll never take for granted these opportunities.  

I knew I had to get into this show.  I am honored to cover such insanely talented musicians.  Five Finger Death Punch have collected numerous awards, which include the Soldier Appreciation Award that has only been given to one other musician (Elvis).  They have also obtained an impressive amount of over a dozen RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) certifications.   

The never-ending crowd interaction, the unfaltering vocals, the shredding, the experience as a whole had me having the best time.  Ivan was throwing guitar picks, what looked like bracelets, and he even tossed a top hat that he was wearing out into the pavilion. While in the photo pit, every member on that stage was a total ham for the camera.  I love when the band members make the shots fun.  Sometimes, I can feel a little paparazzi like up there, so having the enthusiasm and smiles about a camera in their face is so appreciated.  

Overall, the night was fantastic.  I was not let down.  You won’t be either, so go get yourself to one of the upcoming shows.  Thanks to Live Nation and Rock DNA Magazine and to the band and all crew.
