Concert Review: Dance Gavin Dance - Return of The Robot Tour, The Fillmore Charlotte

The Fillmore Charlotte was sold out and packed with electric energy throughout the night for openers Dwellings, Belmont, and The Home Team. By the time Dance Gavin Dance hit the stage the energy was undeniable and we were ready for one hell of a performance. With crisp acoustics and an enthusiastic crowd, full of crowd surfers, the venue lent itself perfectly to the band’s eclectic, high-energy performance.

The band is releasing Pantheon, their 11th studio album on September 12, 2025 via Rise Records. Their latest single “All The Way Down as well as “Midnight at McGuffy’s,” are both available to stream as of writing this. 

I must admit that I have never heard Dance Gavin Dance’s music before, but have heard the name. After seeing their show, I can now understand the appeal. Fans from all demographics and ages were present and ready to party. I hope you enjoy the moments I have captured as much as I enjoyed taking them.
