Surrounded by a group of talented musicians, Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton brought his hard rock group Close Enemies formed in 2023 at Foxborough's String Grill & Stage on October 10, 2025. It was an exceptional night of live music.
The lineup included legendary bassist Tom Hamilton best known for performing with Aerosmith. Hamilton co-wrote some of the band's biggest hits, including Sweet Emotion and Janie's Got a Gun; Trace Foster, an accomplished musician, with over 40 years in the industry as songwriter and producer, playing guitar; along with Peter Stroud, a well accomplished musician playing also guitar. Stroud co-founded 65 amps, a boutique guitar company; Tony Brock playing (drum). Brock had a band called the Babys and then played with Rod Stewart for 12 years. Tony's drumming style has been showcased with rock legends such as Roy Orbison and Elton Johns. Completing the lineup, we found Chasen Hampton, (lead vocals) the frontman of Close Enemies, a gifted singer who worked with legends such as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Slash from Guns N' Roses.
Close Enemies performance at Foxborough showcased mostly original tracks from their next album expected to be released on Friday, November 7, 2025, and their three singles that have been released ahead of the album, "Sound of A Train", "Inside Out", "Sweet Baby Jesus", and a couple of Aerosmith covers.
Being close friends forever and enjoying playing together, the group delivered a terrific live music show at Foxborough's String Grill & Stage. Their music was delicious and honest rock and roll. The sound was clean and pure. It was an exceptional night of live music.
