Blues Power Live: Cardinal Black, Troy Redfern, and Brave Rival

The electric vibes of blues aficionados filled the air as Planet Rock Radio proudly presented the much-anticipated event, Blues Power Live. Hosted by the charismatic Bernard Doherty, the compere of Planet Rock's Blues Power show, the evening unfolded with a promise of a soulful melodies and powerful performances from three outstanding bands: Brave Rival, Troy Redfern, and the headlining act, Cardinal Black.

The evening commenced with the blues, rock, and power ballads of Brave Rival, setting the perfect tone for the night ahead. With Ed Clarke’s rocking riffs and solos, Billy Dedman’s rhythmic bass and Donna Peters laying down the beats, there was a seamless fusion of bluesy melodies and commanding vocals unleashed by Chloe Josephine and Lindsay Bonnick resonating through the venue.

Next up was Troy Redfern, a maestro of high-energy blues passion. His performance was nothing short of spectacular, with a raw and resonating sound that showcased the essence of true blues craftsmanship. The audience couldn't help but be swept away by the intensity and authenticity of Redfern's delivery, cementing his status as a force to be reckoned with in the blues scene.

As the night reached its zenith, Cardinal Black took the stage, bringing the crowd to its feet with their captivating blend of soulful and powerful blues. Frontman Tom Hollister's voice proved to be a mesmerizing instrument, weaving tales of heartache and resilience with every note.
