Concert Review: X AMBASSADORS: HOUSE OF BLUES, BOSTON!

Performing across Fenway Park, Home to the Red Sox, the oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball and one of the most well-known sports venues in the world, on September 22, 2025, X Ambassadors delivered an amazing live music performance filled with energy, passion, and creating an atmosphere of excitement among several thousands of fans present at the venue.

The show started at 8:00 p.m. with singer-songwriter Delacey opening for X Ambassadors. Co-written songs such as “New York City” for The Chainsmokers, "Ruin the Friendship” for Demi Lovato, and “Without Me” for Halsey (which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100); Delacey played a setlist that drawn the  audience into an angelic moment.

More songs like “My Man” and “The Subway Song” gained the attention of the crowd deeply interested with the artist’s confessional storytelling. Delacey’s  voice filled  the audience, creating an atmosphere of jubilation and exultation inside the theater.

Between songs, she shared stories behind her lyrics, telling fans that much of her music is drawn directly from her own lived experiences. Her unique style is marked by raw, honest lyricism and a moody alt-pop sound. Her influences range from Billie Holiday to Led Zeppelin, contributing to her diverse  musical identity.

At The House of Blues in Boston, Delacey had not only charmed the crowd, but she  reminded us why she had established herself as one of the best solo artists in the U.S.

After a short break, at 9:15 p.m. as the headliner, X Ambassadors hit the stage. The  place was in fire as fans gathered to see multi-platinum alt-rock band X Ambassadors at The House of Blues.

Known for their high energy performance, the band carried the crowd through an extraordinary night of music. The line up consists of lead vocalist Sam Harris,  keyboardist Casey Harris, drummer Adan Levin, and Russ Flynn, a touring member  who plays guitar and bass, was terrific. The American pop rock band from Ithaca, New York, made the entire venue singing, dancing, jumping as the audience shouted the lyrics from each song, turning the room into a chorus of voices.

The band began their performance with “Jungle” and followed up with “Loveless” and “Hang On.” Lead singer Sam Harris charmed the audience with his powerful vocals and electric stage presence, while his brother Casey Harris played the keys with precision and passion.

The setlist continued with “Low Life” and  “Fear” and more agreeable moments were when the band performed songs such as “Liberdade,” “Feather”, “Superpower,” “Naked,” “Gorgeous.” The assistance went crazy when the band performed “Renegades,” X Ambassadors breakout hit, which made the entire venue clapping and singing, repeating every word from the lyrics. As the show was closed to finish, X Ambassadors played “Fragile” and “Hold You Down.”

From start to finish, X Ambassadors played a terrific concert. Sam Harris thanked people in Massachusetts for their support, announcing that the band is still promoting their fourth studio album, Townie, that came out on April 5, 2024.
