On Saturday June 7, 2025, the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom welcomed Kurt Deimer Band and Tesla. The sold-out show in NH was terrific. Almost two thousand fans were present to see the two exceptional bands performing live on stage at the Beach Casino. The two bands played to a fired-up crowd bringing their full energy of rock music to the stage.
Starting the night was Kurt Deimer band. An actor, musician, and Rock singer-songwriter from Cincinnati, O.H., Deimer is best known for his EP Work Hard, that features Phil X (Bon Jovi), and Geoff Tate (Queensryche) produced by Chris Lord-Alge. At Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, Deimer's band for one hour effectively warmed up the crowd for the first part of the night. A talented entertainer, Kurt Deimer kept the audience engaged friendly, even stepping off the stage to shake hands with fans while continuing to sing. Deimer's gritty vocals and heavy rock grooves made a great impression, setting the tone for the next group. Deimer's interpretation of Pink Floyd's "Have a Cigar" was received with an enthusiastic response. People in the audience were on their feet, singing, dancing, jumping, and applauding in approval.

At 9:30 p.m. Tesla hit the stage. The American rock band from Sacramento, California was formed in late 1981, by bassist Brian Wheat and guitarist Frank Hannon. The band named City Kidd, had evolved into Tesla. By 1984, vocalist Jeff Keith, guitarist Tommy Skeoch, and drummer Troy Luccketta had joined the band, forming their classic lineup that appeared on all of the albums and live shows during their first appearances. The band adopted the Tesla's name shortly before recording their first album, as another band with a name similar to City Kidd already existed. The current members are Brian Wheat, bass, backing vocals, keyboards, piano, Frank Hannon (guitar, backing vocals, keyboards, piano, organ, bass), Jeff Keith (lead vocals), Dave Rude (guitar, backing vocals, bass), and Steve Brown (drums, percussion).
Their debut album, Mechanical Resonance, was released in 1986, which produced two hit singles, "Modern Day Cowboy" and their cover of "Little Suzi". The band's second album, The Great Radio Controversy (1989) peaked at No. 18 on the Billboard 200 album chart and produced the top ten single "Love Song." The band recorded and released their third album, the live acoustic album Five Man Acoustical Jam, in 1990. It peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard 200. Their fourth album, Psychotic Supper (1991), peaked at No. 13.
The band broke up in 1996 but returned in 2000 with a live tour and album, both named Replugged. Their most recent release is the EP All About Love (2024), while their latest studio album to date is Shock (2019. Most of Tesla's albums feature a bluesy hard rock style. The band is said to have been influenced by classic 1960s and 1970s rock bands like Led Zeppelin, Queen, Bad Company and the Beatles.
"If you are looking to read about the car, you have come to the wrong place. We are TESLA the band and have been rocking out for over 40 years," said Jeff Keith, the lead singer of Tesla who is best known for his work as lead singer of the popular American "hair metal" band Tesla, which he joined in 1982.
