Concert Review: Reprise at the Brighton Music Hall

It was a freezing cold night. The temperature dropped to14 degrees Fahrenheit, and the forecast predicted a huge snowstorm for Boston. Despite the cold weather, five hundred fans, the maximum allowed at the Brighton Music Hall, showed up on January 23, 2026, to listen to Reprise. It was an exceptional night of music.

From the beginning to the end the show was terrific. Known for their energetic live performances and their magical concerts, Reprise was amazing. The band that formed to reprise the Phish experience was formed by musicians such as Cal Kehoe, longtime frontman for Pink Talking Fish, on guitar; Adrian Tramontano (Twiddle, Kung Fu. Mihali and The Breakfast) mastered the drums; multi-instrumentalist and composer Chris DeAngelis (The Machine, Kung Fu and The Breakfast) plays the bass; and Scott Chasolen a founding member of Ulu and keyboardist of The Machine, a Pink Floyd tribute, performs on keyboards.

I have heard them several times and they are amazing and the only Phish approved tribute band. Their recreation of the shows is sublime and the music is perfect.  The audience goes on a mystical musical tour with the band, and the melodic music just roils through the venue. Their interpretation differs slightly from the original and improves upon it.  The lights and the sounds at the Brighton Music Hall were perfect and many concert-goers loved every minute of this fantastic show.

The concert on 1/23/26 at Brighton Music Hall in Boston, MA, was a Reprise of the 7/8/94 Great Woods Gamehendge. The group performed the beloved Phish rock opera GAMEHENDGE in its entirety. The show was held on July 8, 1994, at the Great Woods Center for the Performing Arts (now Xfinity Center) in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
