Thursday night at Southside Ballroom was one of those shows where you could just feel something special in the air before it even started. The venue was absolutely packed, standing room only, with fans who clearly had been counting down the days for this one.
Opener Cece Natalie kicked things off and honestly did a great job setting the mood. She got the crowd engaged and moving, and by the time her set wrapped up the room was warmed up and ready. She held her own up there and people were genuinely feeling it.
Then PinkPantheress came out and the place lost it. She had dancers with her and a DJ holding it down, which made the whole show feel like a real production rather than just a standard tour stop. Everything felt thought out and intentional.
The biggest moment of the night came during “Illegal.” The crowd just erupted. Everyone around me knew every single word and was screaming it back at the stage. It was one of those moments where you look around and everyone is having the exact same experience at the exact same time.
She also performed “Angel” in full angel wings which was such a cool visual. It could have felt. cheesy but it really did not. It was one of those things you just had to be there to appreciate.
Overall Southside Ballroom was the perfect venue for this show. Packed to the brim all night but still felt connected and intimate. One of the better shows Dallas has seen in a while.
