Concert Review: Ghosts of Jupiter with The Whole Loaf and The Humans Being at Soundcheck Studios

Great night of music! Great performances! This is how I would describe Ghosts of Jupiter featuring Nate Wilson of Moe at Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts, on April 2, 2026.

The show started at 8:00 p.m. with two special guests. The Whole Loaf is the closest thing you’ll get to an all-in-one modern sixties band. The Loaf blends multiple genres together including psychedelic blues, jazz and funk to achieve their tasteful old school sound. They deliver high energy and passion at every show and create a memorable experience with plenty of originals and well-known covers - sometimes with a twist. The music of The Whole Loaf transports you to a different world, while continuing to make just about anyone groove. Charlie Kenny (drums), Sam Martin (bass) and Jesse Fiorillo (guitar), Sean Crowley (organ), and Kyle Kranczyk (guitar) and their music was terrific!

The Humans Being, an original rock group based in Nashua, New Hampshire, and are known for high- energy performances, catchy riffs, and lyrics that resonate with audiences. They blend dance-inducing grooves with thoughtful songwriting, creating music that pushes the boundaries of modern psychedelic and Jam band rock. The Band members are Brandon O’Grady (Guitar) Tom Duda (Lead Guitar) Shane McWilliams (Bass) Varun Shah (Drums) and Matt Klawitter – (Keys/Synth)

At Soundcheck Studios, the ambiance was phenomenal. Both bands, as openers delivered a high-energy performance that maintained the audience in a state of incredible excitement from the beginning to the end.

At 10:00 p.m. Ghosts of Jupiter, as the headliner hit the stage. A psychedelic rock band formed in 2011, and based out of the Boston area, the group features a loud, riff-heavy sound inspired by classic rock bands such as Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Cream.

Under the leadership of Nate Wilson, the accomplished keyboardist and flutist from Moe, the music flows beautifully and then will veer off to hard rock and back to Jam again. The lineup features Nate Wilson on lead vocals and keyboards, Barrett Goeman on drums, Pierre Aleksi on guitar, and Thomas Lada on bass.

Playing a blend of pop/rock, with their heartfelt lyrics, soaring harmonies, and infectious melodies, Ghosts of Jupiter have become a well-loved and successful band. The audience loved every minute of their performance and to me it was their best.
